Let's Create - GCSE Dance
Starbrite Studios' GCSE dance workshops offer those who have taken their options or thinking about either PE or dance as an option to get a feel of what it is like to prepare their performances within the GCSE requirements.

With many state schools unfortunately not being able to provide the provision for students to fully understand the steps required for creating their own composition through education, Miss Emma is often asked to get involved creatively when it comes to the creation of the final pieces.
This workshop is spread over two days and will take the students through the following skills giving them a head start on their course.
- Selecting a stimulus for choreography;
- What are the five different stimuli?;
- Motif creation;
- Motif development;
- Writing a successful logbook.
Miss Emma is a fellow member of the International Dance Teachers Association and is a qualified instructor of level 3, level 4, level 5 and level 6 diplomas in dance and teacher certifications.
She has also successfully taken students through the extended BTEC diploma in dance and has regular GCSE students booked in for private lessons who have gone to gain top marks in their GCSE exams.
