Students will get the chance to learn the exact choreography from the following shows over the two days:
- & Juliet
- Mary Poppins
Not only will the students learn the choreography but they will also be given the opportunity to take it to stage in our West End showcase on the final day at 4:00 pm.
The evening activities will definitely be memorable as students create their entries for the evening's talent show. Marshmallows will be eaten around the fire pit sharing camp fire stories and strengthening friendships.
Head shots of each attendee will be taken on day one and published during day two.
Miss Emma, our Creative Director, has over 20 years of teaching and is a fellow member of the IDTA, the highest accolade, a festival adjudicator and an International Dance Rewards assessor. In her performance career she worked for the BBC as a backing vocalist and dancer for 'A Star for a Night', going on the full UK tour with the winners. Miss Emma was also a regular feature as a pro dancer in the Grand Opera House, York, Christmas pantomime, a can-can dancer and cabaret performer.
Miss Emma, alongside our talented Starbrite faculty as well as guest teachers are excited to pass on their passion and knowledge to the next generation of performers.
Students attending the West End camp will also train within beautiful studios, complete with sprung floors, mirrors, barres and PA systems, which will only add to the experience.
