What if your child could spend four days creating a real, live, fully staged musical show — and perform it to you on Thursday afternoon? That is exactly what Show in a Week is all about.
This summer Starbrite Studios presents our most ambitious summer school yet — a performing arts spectacular where SIX the Musical meets Horrible Histories. Your children will bring the six wives of Henry VIII to life through drama, song and dance, with the bold comedy storytelling of Horrible Histories giving every child a way in that is genuinely brilliant fun. History just got LOUD!
Monday 20th July — Meet the Queens
Welcome to the company! Children watch the SIX opening number, audition for wife roles and discipline groups, and begin learning their first songs. The week starts with energy and excitement from the very first moment.

Tuesday 21st July — Building the Show
Discipline groups get to work — drama refines the Horrible Histories comedy sketches, singing rehearses harmonies and solos, and dance builds the choreography for each wife. First full company run-through of the opening wives.

Wednesday 22nd July — Putting It Together
The whole show comes together. Wives five and six are staged, the finale is rehearsed and the full show runs for the first time. Older students mentor younger ones. The excitement of show day begins to build!

Thursday 23rd July — Show Day! 👑
Final dress rehearsal in the morning, into costume after lunch, then showtime! Parents are invited to watch the full performance at Starbrite Studios followed by a curtain call, cast photos and certificates for every child.
